Welcome

Health Sciences Charter School

Thank you for visiting the Web site of the unique Health Sciences Charter School (HSCS). Our motto - Where Learning Meets Life - describes the comprehensive nature of our school. Students receive a quality education, develop essential life skills, and receive workforce preparation for success in health sciences industry careers.

HSCS emphasizes strong academics, Regents diplomas, advanced placement courses, and a health sciences curriculum, and includes sports, arts, clubs and more - all within a supportive and goal oriented atmosphere.

Real-work internships, mentoring and service learning placements at medical/health care facilities help our students learn about the new jobs within their reach after graduation. HSCS graduates will be college ready or career ready, excellently positioned to take advantage of bright future opportunities.

The educators and health care, business and labor leaders who serve on our Board of Trustees have created an optimum learning environment for our students, while helping to shape a quality future workforce for the region's health care industry.

Sincerely,
David A. Palmer
