Diversity Dinner was a delight!

On March 16th, 2016 Health Sciences Charter School held our Annual Diversity Dinner. The event was a time for members of the school community to come together and celebrate not only what makes each of us unique, but also what brings us all together: our students. On top of cooking demonstrations, event participants sampled food hand crafted by members of the school community.

We also were treated to an art show, performances by the drill team, and were entertained by the sounds of the Health Sciences Choir.

Last year, Health Sciences also added a new student Open House to the night. Proving to be successful, Mr. Baxter, Assistant Principal, decided to combine the events again. New students and their families were able to meet the Principal, Dr. Hank Stopinski, future teachers, and their future classmates. Participants were able to meet each other over an ice cream social. They also participated in the Diversity Dinner food and events, bringing together the future and current members of the Health Sciences community.
