A special shoutout to our very own alumni Shay-Nia Hogan from our first cohort of graduates, Class of 2014. Shay-Nia, is a Certified Nursing Assistant and is currently working on her Sterile Processing Certificate at BCAT. Every opportunity that Health Sciences has made available through community partnership and our workforce development program via WBL she and others have been successful. Shay-Nia is working at a facility every day where out of 60 patients, only 11 are not COVID-19 positive. She has a son who she has to leave every day to go take care of others and in that we applaud the work she is doing on the front line! She is our very own first responder! Congratulations, Shay-Nia! We are so proud of you! #HSCSalumni #ClassOf2014
