The student experience at Health Sciences Charter School is focused on an academically challenging learning environment, effective communication, critical thinking, embracing diversity, engagement in service learning, and becoming productive and valued members of the community.
Students are active participants, not only in the learning that takes place at the school, but in shared decision-making. They participate in deciding the school's colors, mascot, the selection of clubs and activities, and have been invited to help select teachers.
An active Student Council and Student Ambassador's Club are two of the many leadership opportunities available to students.
